Getting Closer

I got to play with the new Canon 100mm f2.8 IS lens the other day, I hired it for a job as it’s not in my arsenal of lenses, but it now on my wish list!

The depth of field from the 2.8 is beautiful and the fact that you can get so so close to what you are photographing is great. Not to forget the image stabiliser which you can see is still sharp at down to 1/40.
